Lease Analyst / Senior Analyst - Finance Management Company: Cushman & Wakefield Job Description Summary: The Lease Analyst/Senior Analyst is responsible for all aspects of lease administration (lease abstraction, quality review, portfolio management) and works as part of or manages a team ensuring efficient and accurate accounting of client data records, rent processing, and reporting requirements. About the Role Verify, reconcile, and process rent and property invoices, ensure timely payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with lease terms and internal policies. Maintain accurate financial records by updating real‑estate systems with rent adjustments, tracking security deposits, and managing subtenant rent collections. Collaborate with landlords, internal teams, and Accounts Payable to address billing issues, negotiate late charges, and ensure smooth payment operations. Conduct detailed audits of CAM, insurance, and tax reconciliations; analyze charges for accuracy, resolve disputes, and recover overcharges. Prepare and present reports on rent metrics, participate in client meetings, and ensure compliance with standards like SOC1, AR, and AP. About You Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the real estate industry with a clear understanding of commercial lease terms. Proven experience in financial management, including handling invoices, billing, and payments. Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; must be able to engage effectively in a matrix organization – up, down, and laterally. Critical and analytical thinking skills.
