Main purpose of the role Drive the development of omni-channel category strategies that deliver customer growth. Ensure Shopper and Customer relevancy of all major innovations and renovations as part of I2L ways-of-working. Key deliverables As part of the omni-channel category strategy development process, define growth opportunities and main drivers for the category. In the commercial planning process, act as the category expert to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned to the category vision and initiatives. Establish the link between the Category Strategy, the SBU Global Business Strategy, Category ZDP/ZEP, the Market Business Strategy, and the Brand, Channel and Customer plans to improve impact and efficiency. Idea to Launch: identify contributors to opportunities, run ideation and prototyping sessions and ensure integration into execution to ensure category growth and positive trade margin. Leverage Category expertise to support refinement of target financials and the business case for any I&R; ensure relevant insights on Category, Channel, Customer and Competitor are integrated into preparation for and applied to the DELIVERY of Channel and Customer Activation and communication plans, driving winning commercial propositions. Key requirements Minimum of 8 years of experience in the FMCG space with focus on category or commercial development. Strong Commercial Competencies: Master Shopper Understanding, Develop Winning Strategies and Plans, Lead Category Development, Drive Profitable Revenue Growth, successful cross-functional team leadership. Proven track record of leading and managing teams. Able to influence with integrity, provide impactful insights and engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
