Overview

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the planning, implementation, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional IT programs
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics, aligning initiatives with the company's overall business goals
  • Assemble high-performing teams, delegating responsibilities and providing hands-on guidance to ensure seamless project execution
  • Anticipate and proactively mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective change management strategies
  • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Drive continuous process improvement, implementing best practices and leveraging data-driven decision making
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing regular updates and making recommendations to enhance programme success
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in leading the delivery of complex, large-scale IT programs and projects
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing programs within the Information & Communications Technology industry
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to define clear objectives, establish milestones, and monitor progress
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a relevant project management certification is highly desirable
