Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead QA Engineer to spearhead our Quality Assurance initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the QA lifecycle, develop and implement testing strategies, and lead a team of QA professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, fostering collaboration across departments, and upholding our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies aligned with project goals and timelines. Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Allocate resources effectively to meet testing objectives and project deadlines. Test Design & Execution: Oversee the creation, review, and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure thorough coverage of functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to enhance efficiency. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met. Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing insights on quality metrics and testing progress. Communicate testing outcomes, risks, and quality issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Establish and monitor quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of QA processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in software testing. Drive initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Foster an environment that encourages innovation and the adoption of new technologies. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with both manual and automated testing. Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or equivalent. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent. Experience in performance and security testing.
