The Recruiting Supervisor ensures that requirements are met to identify, attract, and onboard top talent to efficiently and effectively meet dynamic business needs. This position is responsible for assisting with the development of recruiting strategies and managing a team that assesses hiring needs and interviews candidates for various positions.
In this role, you will:- Administer, develop, and implement recruitment programs.
- Direct the activities of a team that develops innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs of clients, internal departments, and stakeholders.
- Set team goals and targets, monitor progress against recruitment metrics, and measure team productivity.
- Lead a team responsible for initial screening, telephone, and face-to-face interviews with prospective applicants.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, HR, and stakeholders to determine final hiring decisions and make recommendations based on needs and candidate interactions.
- Coach the team in leveraging resources such as the internet, community organizations, media, networks, colleges, and trade associations to source qualified candidates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2-4 years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of recruiting metrics and trends such as retention, quality of hire, and throughput.
- A sense of urgency, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-velocity environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professionalism and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
