About the role: Sunjin Philippines Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Malvar Batangas. As a full-time HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development.

What you'll be doing

• Recruit, onboard and retain top talent for the organisation
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws and best practices
• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
• Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate payroll processing
• Identify and implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation

• Minimum of 2 years\' experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role

Job Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws, and providing assistance across all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding).
• Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of HR databases and HRIS.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll coordination.
• Handle employee relations concerns and provide guidance on company policies.
• Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in organizing training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE compliance, etc.).
• Prepare HR reports, memos, and communications as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments for HR-related requirements.
• Participate in employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a generalist or similar HR role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with HRIS or HR software systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willing to work in Carmona, Cavite

Job Description

The HR Generalist – Labor Relations is responsible for supporting labor relations strategies and providing guidance to management and employees on labor issues.

• Administer labor relations programs, including grievance handling, investigations, and contract interpretation
• Assist with investigations related to employee discipline, misconduct, and grievances
• Provide training and guidance to supervisors and managers on labor-related matters
• Maintain records and documentation related to grievances, arbitrations, and labor disputes
• Collaborate with HR team to support broader HR initiatives including employee engagement, performance management, and policy development
• Monitor changes in labor laws and advise on potential impact to company practices
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
• Support other HR initiatives and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in human resources with a focus on labor relations
• Working knowledge of labor law, labor contracts, grievance procedures, and dispute resolution
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
