We are looking for an experienced Live Action video editor to join our team and stay with us long term. She or He should have a strong experience and proven references in live action video editing.

What you’ll do.

• Perform the full range of editing works from splicing, to sound balancing, to color correction and color grading.
• Review the script to better understand the video production requirements
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
• Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
• Previous work experience as a video editor
• Excellent sense of design and creativity applied to video editing
• Ability to complete a project within the given time frame
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• A good and reliable internet connection
• Hands-on experience with editing software, such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of color correction and color grading
• Consistency in meeting and exceeding set goals
• Attention to details.

Virtual Rockstar is seeking a full-time Video Editor/ YouTube and Podcast Manager to collaborate with our CEO. The Video Editor/ YouTube and Podcast Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing content for our social media channels, and creating engaging short-form video content from our podcasts. We are looking for a social media person who knows how to edit and follow the style from past podcasts. The position involves regular participation in team meetings and close coordination with the team to enhance our social media presence and podcast outreach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing social media accounts and managing video content, as well as a strategic and creative mindset.

• Experience in Social Media Management: Proficiency in creating and implementing social media strategies.
