RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development of comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Lead and supervise a team of work planners to ensure effective planning and scheduling of work activities. Overall monitors the Plan and schedule preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and predictive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment uptime and reliability while minimizing disruptions to operations. Coordinate with maintenance teams, supervisors, technicians, and contractors to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Manage spare parts inventory and supplies required for maintenance activities, ensuring adequate stock levels to support planned maintenance tasks and emergency repairs. Analyze maintenance data, performance metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimizing maintenance processes. Prepare reports and presentations for management review. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains in maintenance planning and execution. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall maintenance performance. Collaborates with finance and accounting teams to develop budgets and forecasts for maintenance contracts and standard costing activities. Monitors expenditures and variance analysis to ensure cost control and alignment with budgetary targets. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management on cost-saving opportunities and investment decisions related to maintenance contracts and standard costing. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline. Must have at least 5 years of work experience in water supply, water treatment within an industrial or manufacturing environment Experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Must have strong technical knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and methodologies. Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), scheduling software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex maintenance data, identify root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders. Excellent skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
