As an international company we are looking for aCountry Manager who will work in Philippines. The Country Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all business operations in Philippines, ensuring smooth operations, and driving the growth and success of the company in that region. This position requires a strategic leader who can adapt to local market dynamics while maintaining alignment with the global vision and objectives of the company. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee all daily business operations within the country, ensuring that objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Strategy Development: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the country’s market, culture, and business landscape to develop tailored strategies that align with both local and global goals. Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding market share. Financial Management: Monitor the financial performance of the business, ensuring that the company meets financial targets and remains within budget. Staff Management: Lead, recruit, and manage a team of professionals, including hiring, training, and ensuring high-performance standards. Vendor Relations: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards. Collaboration: Work closely with local businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders to acquire necessary resources and services. Folow up the permits, governmental applications and solve the problems will be occured. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management, analyzing data and recommending improvements. Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring a positive brand image in the local market. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the company complies with local regulations, industry standards, and environmental laws, while also identifying potential risks and mitigating them. Qualifications: At least 8 years of experience in a similar management role, preferably in construction, solar, or related industries. Ideally managed engineering company or working at engineering company at high level position Have engineering background with leadership and team building capabilities Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of the local market dynamics, including business and cultural norms. Preferred Experience: Experience in the construction, solar, or energy sectors. Familiarity with the Philippines’ business landscape and regulatory environment. Strategic thinking and decision-making. Results-driven with a focus on business growth. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong relationship-building and networking skills. Adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges. High level of professionalism and integrity.
