One of our clients is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lease Administrator to join our dynamic commercial real estate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate lease administration, with proven experience managing CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of lease terms and accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with property management, accounting, and asset management teams. Key Responsibilities Review, interpret, and maintain lease documents, abstracts, and amendments in the lease administration database. Perform detailed CAM and operating expense reconciliations , ensuring accuracy and compliance with lease terms. Coordinate with property management and accounting teams to verify tenant billings, recoveries, and adjustments. Track critical lease dates (renewals, expirations, options, etc.) and ensure timely notifications and reporting. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate lease documentation and financial data. Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity. Provide ongoing support for property managers, asset managers, and senior leadership regarding lease interpretation and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in lease administration. Strong understanding of CAM reconciliations , operating expenses, and recovery calculations. Proficient in lease management and accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar). Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work onsite and on a fixed night shift .
