We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to manage the movement of our shipment. The successful candidate will maintain and further develop quality relationships with customers and stakeholders. In addition, the Operations Associate will communicate necessary information to internal departments to meet the service level required by customers.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to solve accounting issues as quickly as possible.
  • Schedule or reschedule pickup and delivery appointments.
  • Provide customers with status updates and excellent customer service.
  • Communicate with internal and external groups, especially on high priority loads and customers.
  • Provide directions for each new customer as they are entered in the system to begin serving their shipment.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and improve customer retention.
  • Provide logistics and asset side with all information needed to properly execute logistics plans as determined by the customer to ensure proper customer service is provided.
  • Manage all unplanned accessorial fee issues (demurrage, storage, plug-in, etc.) related to customers' shipment.
  • Identify and communicate ways the company can continuously improve in its operations.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any business related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to solve operational issues as quickly as possible.
