Price Variance Auditor – Job Description

Successfully deliver pricing audits for base part prices, price changes, and related documentation for newly initiated contracts. Use advanced Excel to compute price changes and report variances; ensure pricing accuracy and adherence to contractual obligations. Involves client interaction and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of base prices, contract price changes, and supporting documentation for new supplier contracts.
  • Verify pricing accuracy and consistency with contractual terms and client policies.
  • Assess evidence supporting pricing changes.
  • Utilize Excel formulas to compute price changes, identify discrepancies, and report variances.
  • Prepare reports on audit findings and discuss with clients as needed.
  • Collaborate with procurement for supplier negotiations and price reductions.
  • Maintain documentation of audit processes and conclusions.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience in auditing, procurement, or cost analysis focusing on price validation and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF, pivots, conditional formatting).
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple audits/projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • ERP/SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Open to night shift and hybrid work.

What You Will Do
