The nationwide sales head is a critical role that drives revenue growth, leads sales teams, and ensures the company's sales strategy is aligned with its overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and Implementing Sales Strategy: Creating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Setting Sales Targets and KPIs: Establishing sales goals, revenue targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive performance.
- Managing Sales Teams: Leading and motivating sales teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Building Customer Relationships: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to foster loyalty and identify new business opportunities.
- Analyzing Market Trends: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Driving Revenue Growth: Implementing strategies and initiatives to increase sales, market share, and profitability.
- Reporting and Analysis: Creating reports and presentations to communicate sales performance, progress, and insights to senior management.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as marketing, product, and customer success, to align strategies and optimize performance.
Qualifications (Competencies and Skill set required):
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 8 years in a senior or national leadership role
- Proven track record in driving national revenue growth, leading large teams and managing complex accounts
- Expertise in sales analytics, forecasting and CRM systems
- Advance knowledge in the use of technology like generative AI, Power BI
- Strong negotiation, leadership, communication and executive presence
