Legacy People is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and conformity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoices, ensure timely payments, and track receivables to optimize cash flow.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Work with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven experience as an accountant or similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently
