Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in accounting, with experience handling all financial aspects of a company. The accountant will be part of the Accounting Team assisting in the financial reporting of multiple entities.

Responsibilities as a member of the Accounting Team:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, daily activity reports, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.
  • Assist with the preparation of other financial reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Strong QuickBooks experience.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
