JOB DESCRIPTION People Rewards Specialist/Senior Specialist About the People Rewards Team: The Total Rewards team supports the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation and benefits programs. We are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable rewards that attract, retain, and motivate talent in Microsourcing and Beepo. The Role: As a People Rewards Specialist/Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient administration of our total rewards programs, with a strong focus on employee benefits. You will manage the day-to-day operations of our benefits plans, provide reliable employee support, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the Philippine market. Reporting Structure: Reports To: People Rewards Officer/People Rewards Manager. Responsibilities: Employee Benefit Administration: - Manage the daily administration of employee benefits programs in the Philippines, including HMO, life insurance, leave policies, and other statutory and voluntary benefits. - Serve as a key point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing accurate and timely information and resolving routine issues. - Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations for all benefit plans accurately and within deadlines. - Assist in the preparation and distribution of employee benefits communication materials. - Ensure compliance with all relevant Philippine labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits (e.g., PhilHealth, SSS, Pag-IBIG). - Accurately process benefit-related forms and documentation. - Maintain organized and up-to-date employee benefits records in relevant systems. - Assist in the reconciliation of benefit invoices and identify discrepancies for review. Total Rewards Support: - Assist in the administration of compensation-related tasks, such as data entry for salary adjustments and bonus payouts, as directed. - Prepare basic total rewards-related reports and data summaries. - Support the implementation of new total rewards initiatives and programs by completing assigned tasks. - Ensure data integrity in HRIS and other relevant systems related to total rewards. Vendor Liaison: - Act as a point of contact for routine communication with external benefit providers to resolve employee issues and gather information. Employee Communication: - Respond to employee inquiries regarding total rewards programs in a clear, concise, and professional manner, escalating complex issues as needed. Compliance and Documentation: - Adhere to company policies and Philippine labor laws related to total rewards administration. - Maintain organized and accurate records of all assigned total rewards-related documentation. - Participate in data audits and compliance checks as requested. Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in HR administration or operations, with some exposure to employee benefits administration in the Philippines. Entry-level candidates with strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in HR may also be considered. Basic understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HRIS and benefits administration systems is an advantage. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy and timely task completion. Personal Attributes: Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks. Excellent customer service orientation and a desire to help employees. Ability to follow procedures and guidelines consistently. Proactive and willing to learn and develop their knowledge of total rewards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
