Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analyst, Information Technology is primarily focused on managing all facets of technical projects to ensure deliverables are met within schedule, budget, and quality goals. The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle from reviewing business requirements and development activities through production delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Obtains estimates/level of effort and distributes to clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Develop communications documents (Project status, milestones, Notification, Training guide, user manuals, etc.
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations such as LOE, System Approaches, Outline high-level flow, Release notes, etc.
  • Gathers volume forecast information in order to identify and support infrastructure needs
  • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope identifies potential risks and devises contingency plans and gap analysis
  • Identifies and tracks open issues within the project team. Tracks project milestones and deliverables
  • Collaborates with Support/technical staff, applications development, and the data owners/subject matter experts during various phases of the project lifecycle
  • Establish the data quality business rules that will provide a data quality improvement plan
  • Implements Change Management processes and procedures when needed
  • Collaborates with the team to create and maintain System Documentation
  • Performs all assigned duties efficiently and technically correctly, follows Company policies, rules and regulations, and requests of Superiors. Adheres to procedures and achieves a high standard, leading to total guest and Company satisfaction.
  • Updates oneself and follow security and safety procedures according to Company’s rules and regulations.
  • Attends departmental meetings and training when requested.
  • Performs other duties that immediate superiors may assign from time to time.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the same capacity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Business Analyst and project scheduling skills
  • Experience with tracking project deliverables
  • Subject matter expert during various phases of the project lifecycle
  • Project documentation and status reporting skills
