Job Purpose

The HR Manager is responsible for supporting the full life-cycle recruitment process and managing the candidate experience throughout the process by ensuring a consistent and positive experience.

Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end recruitment of positions in the given account and ensure that the SLA is met.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure that job specifications and expectations of the job are properly defined to ensure hiring of right candidates.
  • Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines in collaboration with the Talent Sourcing team.
  • Evaluate applications, review resumes, complete initial interviews to identify top candidates and narrow candidate pool to make recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Prepare, negotiate and extend job offer to candidates.
  • Build employer brand through educating candidates about SM Retail throughout process.
  • Manage candidates by ensuring a consistent positive experience from initial application to the final on-boarding process.
  • Develop and/or refine job description content as needed.
  • Participate in hiring events.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards.
  • Maintain and manage candidates through ATS.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in the Psychology or any related course
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting and employer branding from the retail, agency/consulting, oil and gas or other related industries.
  • Experience in both volume hiring and corporate/niche hiring.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of recruitment best practices and systems.
