Role Overview – Jr. Network & VoIP Support Engineer The Jr. Network & VoIP Support Engineer is the first‑line technical support for our clients. The role proactively diagnoses and resolves common issues, ensuring a positive customer experience through clear communication and methodical troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Answer client calls, respond to emails, and resolve client issues related to internet, phone service, PBX changes, and network equipment. Troubleshoot VoIP‑related issues such as phone registration, call tree setup (IVR), SIP/RTP network connectivity, firewall configuration, and NAT traversal. Provision equipment for new clients, port phone numbers, and follow up on previous support tickets to ensure timely resolution. Accurately document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Escalate unresolved or advanced issues to other team members. Hardware/Software Stack Cradlepoint Meraki Vivant Proprietary PBX Utiliko Business Management System Qualifications – Table Stakes Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, PBX, and VoIP phones. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT) and VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP). Ability to identify and resolve audio quality and call setup issues with basic troubleshooting procedures. Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills. Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate and learn. Schedule & Location Work hours aligned with U.S. Central time zone: 8am – 5pm M‑F. Location: Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines. Compensation PHP 25,000 – PHP 100,000 monthly base salary. Additional benefits: paid training, opportunities for promotion, holiday cash gift, recognition and rewards.
