Summary We’re hiring a hands‑on Senior IT Systems & Network Automation Engineer (Tier‑2+) to run core secure‑access and voice systems for a growing, remote‑first team. This role is for someone who loves fixing hard problems, owning platform health, and automating repetitive work: you’ll administer Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZCC), manage enterprise VoIP (RingCentral, TalkDesk, Twilio or similar), troubleshoot SIP/RTP and integration issues, and build automation workflows that link comms, CRM and ticketing systems for better reliability and observability. Important: this is a Tier‑2+ role and candidates must have hands‑on Zscaler administration and VoIP/UC experience. Key Responsibilities (what You’ll Own) Zscaler & Network Security Administer and support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC). Validate traffic routing (ZCC vs PAC), analyze admin‑portal logs and client diagnostics, and tune policies. Manage auth rules, SSL inspection, user profiles and zero‑trust access policies. Troubleshoot connectivity/performance and, when required, escalate to Zscaler TAC. VoIP / Communications & Integrations Administer and automate RingCentral, TalkDesk, Twilio (or equivalent). Troubleshoot SIP/RTP, codecs, SBC/NAT issues, call routing, IVR/queue logic and call‑quality problems. Create integrations with CRM/ticketing systems (auto‑logging calls, routing, analytics). Improve reliability, reporting, QoS and operational runbooks for voice systems. Automation, Systems & Support Design and maintain automation workflows using Make.com or similar (API integrations, auth handling, retries/idempotency). (n8n is a nice‑to‑have — see below.) Provide Tier‑2 escalation support for Windows, macOS, SaaS and network incidents; document runbooks. Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Autopilot/Intune/Jamf, MDM/SSO and endpoint posture tools (NinjaOne, SentinelOne). Monitor systems (Zabbix/observability), support basic AWS operations for internal automation backends, and maintain knowledge base documentation. Operations & Collaboration Work with security, operations and engineering to enforce access integrity and compliance. Maintain clear documentation, playbooks and SLAs; hand over well‑scoped issues to Tier‑3 or vendors as needed. Must‑have Qualifications 5+ years in IT systems or network administration (Tier‑2 or above). Hands‑on Zscaler experience: ZIA, ZPA, ZCC — policy management, SSL inspection, logs, troubleshooting. Hands‑on VoIP/UC experience: RingCentral, TalkDesk, Twilio, or similar — and practical SIP/RTP troubleshooting. Strong networking fundamentals: DNS, VPN, routing, TLS/SSL, certificates, proxies, NAT/SBC. Experience building automation/integrations (Make.com or similar — n8n is nice‑to‑have). Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills. Nice‑to‑have Experience with n8n (automation/orchestration). Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation or tooling. Experience with Autopilot, Intune, JAMF, 1Password enterprise, NinjaOne, SentinelOne. Familiarity with SPF/DKIM/DMARC, Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 mailflow, HubSpot/CRM integrations, Jira Service Management.
