Overview Mercer Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines We are seeking a talented individual to join our Broking Team in the Philippines. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. In this role, you are responsible for a mix of account management and broking, providing quality advice and service to clients on their insurance products and risk exposure, partnering with the sales team to grow the business, and participating in all stages of solution delivery. As an entry-level individual contributor, an Account Management/Broking Analyst I is ready to apply the knowledge acquired via advanced education and to start to develop professional skills with the help of a manager and more experienced team members. Responsibilities Helps prepare business plans and goals. Maintains long term relationships with key client decision makers and monitors changes within client organizations to preserve and protect the Companys relationship with the client. Supports all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards. Identifies revenue generation, growth and other opportunities by developing additional business from existing portfolio and other sources. Identifies successful account retention and defense strategies to ensure business is retained. Maintains awareness of moderately complicated claim-related matters and assists claims personnel in negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients. Maintains meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients. Develops thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered to clients and stays abreast of new technical and product developments to better advise colleagues and clients. What you need to have Proven experience in client relationship management or account management within the insurance industry. Strong understanding of major classes of insurance and the ability to stay updated on technical and product developments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with clients and insurers.
