Summary:
The Business Development Sr. Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by actively seeking out and engaging potential partner-sellers within the ecommerce landscape. This role involves lead generation initiatives, conducting persuasive sales calls, and delivering impactful product pitches that result in closed deals and long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the digital marketplace.
Responsibilities- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and cultivate potential leads through cold calling, email outreach, social media engagement, networking events, and online advertising campaigns.
- Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on business needs, pain points, budget, and decision-making authority to ensure a focused sales approach.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Sales Calls & Presentations: Conduct engaging sales calls and presentations that communicate the value proposition and benefits of products or services.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals aligned with company objectives and customer expectations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a sales role, preferably within ecommerce or technology.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and cultivate lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant sales tools.
- Sales Acumen: Knowledge of sales methodologies and ability to meet/exceed targets.
- Self-Motivation: High initiative and drive in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- CRM Expertise: Experience with CRM software and lead generation tools.
- Ecommerce Knowledge: Understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and online sales channels.
- Industry Experience: Background in retail, fashion, or consumer goods.
- Multilingualism: Additional language skills relevant to target markets.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving results and exceeding expectations.
