What can you expect in a Business Insights Analyst role with TaskUs:

Think of yourself as a storyteller who can leverage data to create solutions that help the business grow. You will explain and expose tasks based on actual data, supporting stakeholders with key insights to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate data into human insights and stories which drive change in strategy and tactics.
• Analyze complex data sets to develop actionable insights that can drive impactful business decisions.
• Leverage storytelling skills to deliver insights that are clear, concise and actionable.
• Work with business partners to interpret analysis results with a focus on actionable next steps.
• Develop ad hoc reports that lead to insights and analysis needed for the business.
• Collaborate with the data visualization team to develop informative, repeatable reporting and data monitoring to uncover gaps, trends, and opportunities.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for data and reporting teams and translate technical approaches into easily digestible insights.
• Summarize data from multiple sources to communicate insights and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analysis and preparation experience, including use of statistical methods and handling very large data sets using SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
• At least one year of hands-on experience building reports using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar tools.
• Effective communication skills; ability to convey thoughts and information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Take initiative to act and resolve problems, including working independently when appropriate.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to prioritize information effectively.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in day-to-day operations related to department priorities.

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related IT/Computer field.

Work Location / Schedule / Travel

• WFH setup; office presence if needed
• Open to any PH site, preferably within Metro Manila
• Shifting Schedule in Philippine Time (PHT)
