Here in GCash we want to stay at the forefront of the FinTech industry by creating innovative, meaningful, and convenient financial solutions for the nation Overview Role: Legal Counsel (Contracts) responsible for supporting the company’s contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advisory in relation to contracts and related documents. Responsibilities Prepare, review, negotiate, and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements, together with supporting documents. Identify risks and issues in contracts, advise on contract compliance, and interpret contract terms. Answer contract-related inquiries and prepare related agreements. Represent the company’s interests in negotiations with partners, suppliers, and clients. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Verify internal clients’ compliance with company policies and internal procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer or the head of Contracts, including legal research, case study, and related duties. Perform other administrative functions related to the office functions. Qualifications Graduate of Law (Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor). At least five (5) years of experience in providing legal advice and preparing/reviewing contracts, preferably tech-related contracts; in-house experience is an advantage. Organized, ethical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, with the ability to perform with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills; supervisory and marketing skills are an advantage. Ability to quickly adapt to the organization’s culture and values.
