Overview

Location: Work from Home (Global – must be able to work EST hours). Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM EST. Contract Type: Independent Contractor (Must have your own computer and stable internet). This role is for a Design Desk Engineer (DDE) within BruntWork's MSP context, focusing on aligning technology with business outcomes.

If so, this Design Desk Engineer (DDE) role could be the perfect fit. Key Responsibilities
  • Design tailored IT project proposals that meet client needs and align with MSP best practices
  • Source hardware, software, and services with a focus on cost-effectiveness and profitability
  • Use tools like QuoteWerks and internal documentation systems to build solid solution designs
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Monitor project KPIs, help refine operational standards, and continually sharpen your technical skills
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical training with relevant certifications
  • Proven experience in an MSP or IT services environment
  • Skilled in structured project planning and ticket lifecycle management
  • Strong communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • Technically curious, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
