Overview The HR Admin/Shared Services Head is responsible for leading and managing the company’s human resources, administrative, and support service functions to ensure smooth organizational operations. This role oversees HR activities such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development in compliance with labor laws. This role shall supervise administrative services including facilities/asset and fleet management, documentation, and company policies. The position plays a strategic role in honing the culture of the company, aligning the various job function and organizational structure with the business goals. This role aims to foster a positive workplace culture, and to ensure productivity is maximized across the entire organization. The HR Admin/Shared Services Head works closely with senior management to drive employee engagement, organizational development, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with government regulations and company standards. Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources Management Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals. Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent. Manage performance appraisal systems, employee development, and succession planning. Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary actions fairly and legally. Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and government reporting requirements. Drive employee engagement, training programs, and wellness initiatives to promote a positive and highly productive work culture. Administration & Shared Services Supervise day-to-day administrative functions including office management, security, fleet and company facilities. Manage company permits, licenses, and government compliance requirements. Oversee procurement of office supplies, equipment, and administrative services. Ensure proper maintenance and documentation of employee records and company policies. Lead shared services such as payroll administration, timekeeping, and HRIS management. Monitor and control departmental budgets, ensuring cost efficiency in HR and admin operations. Leadership & Strategic Support Provide guidance and support to HR and administrative teams to ensure efficient service delivery. Collaborate with senior management in workforce planning and organizational development. Recommend and implement improvements to HR, administrative, and shared service processes. Prepare and present regular reports on HR metrics, compliance, and administrative performance to management. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the organization. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA in HR or Business is an advantage. Experience At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR, administration, or shared services, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role . Strong background in labor law compliance, government relations, and employee relations. Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage. Skills & Competencies Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence and engage at people across all levels. Strong knowledge of HR policies, compensation & benefits, recruitment, training, and performance management systems. Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and shared services processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity. Other Requirements Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and efficiency measures. Willingness to work on-site at the plant/factory and coordinate across multiple departments. High level of professionalism, adaptability, and results-oriented mindset.
