We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions across various modules including ITSM, GRC/IRM, ITAM, CSM, and Service Portal . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, hands‑on implementation experience, and a deep understanding of ITIL-based processes and automation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT objectives. Configure and customize modules including ITSM, GRC (IRM, VRM, Policy & Compliance, Audit), ITAM, and CSM . Develop and maintain server‑side and client‑side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions). Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and MID Server . Utilize Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Automation Engine for workflow automation. Develop and enhance Service Portals (Employee Center, CSM, or custom portals) using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Service Portal widgets . Design and manage data models, ACLs, notifications, and CMDB configurations. Lead or support instance upgrades, environment management, and deployment processes (Update Sets, Git, or CI/CD pipelines). Participate in requirement gathering workshops, prepare technical documentation, and provide post‑deployment support. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to development best practices. Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development and implementation experience. Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS . Experience with Flow Designer, Scripted REST APIs, and IntegrationHub . Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, etc.). Demonstrated success in end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules or industries. Experience with GRC/IRM, Service Catalog, and Custom Application Development . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. Understanding of ServiceNow data architecture , CMDB relationships , and Discovery . Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills & Tools Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD). Experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) . Familiarity with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and UI Builder / Next Experience (Now Experience Framework) . Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps for CI/CD integrations. Exposure to Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Workflows . Experience integrating ServiceNow with third‑party tools (e.g., Jira, Slack, Azure, Okta, Splunk, or ServiceNow Store apps). Understanding of security best practices, encryption, and access control in ServiceNow. Ideal Candidate Profile Technically adept and eager to learn emerging ServiceNow capabilities. Detail‑oriented, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and scalability. Comfortable working independently or within cross‑functional agile teams.
