Technical Program Lead

Job Description Technical Program Management oversees and coordinates complex technical programs and projects. They ensure that these programs are executed efficiently, align with organizational goals, and deliver expected outcomes. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and exceptional management skills to drive large-scale technology initiatives from conception through implementation. Program Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets. Manage the execution of multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the program. Develop and implement risk management strategies. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration and ensure team members are focused on program goals. Performance Monitoring: Track program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Quality Assurance: Ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve program management processes and methodologies. KPIs: Program Delivery (timeliness and quality), Budget Adherence, Stakeholder Satisfaction, Risk Mitigation, Team Performance. Deliverables TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES: Program Roadmaps – detailed plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resources; Status Reports – regular program progress updates; Risk Management Plans – documentation of risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies; Stakeholder Communication – clear and effective communication with stakeholders; Post-Implementation Reviews – analysis and lessons learned. Hard: Technical Proficiency, Project Management (Agile, Waterfall), Budget Management, Data Analysis, Risk Management, Certifications (PMP, CSM, PgMP, CAPM, ITIL). Hiring Requirements Work Experience: Typically 7-10 years in technical program management or related roles. Experience managing large-scale technical programs, leading cross-functional teams, and working with senior stakeholders. Knowledge: Industry knowledge of technology, technical systems, processes, tools; Management knowledge in program/project management methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
