JOB OBJECTIVE
Support business growth by providing basic technical and sales support promoting Copeland products and solutions to customers. This position remotely manages relationships with small to mid-size customers to allow US outside sales counterparts increased face time with customers.
MAIN DUTIES
PLANNING

  • Performs pre-sales activities for managed customers:
  • Map out annual objectives based on Business Unit strategies at the beginning of each fiscal year
  • Identify target customers for outbound campaigns
  • Create product-specific outbound communication packages that aim to educate and serve as sales tools for customers
  • Prepare monthly Progress Reviews, Territory Sales Report/ Fiscal Year End Sales Report
  • Maintains the accuracy and upkeep of each customer account in the database through the following:
  • Update of each customer file in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Documentation of each supported product
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
  • Manage or co-manage specific customers with domestic outside sales managers
  • Support post-sales activities with follow up calls to identify leads to new business opportunities.
  • Provide timely information updates on current products and on the company
  • Support Customer Service through the following:
  • Resolve technical and product issues
  • Update on new product launches and transitions
  • Recommend solutions on customer issues as follows: Project proposals, product selection, transition, cross-reference and replacement Material/ Product Returns/ Warranty Pricing discrepancies Lost or defective products during shipment
SUPPORT NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
  • Support business growth through the following: Copeland brand cross-selling Provides product research and act on literature request
  • Support sales activities of the managed accounts as follows:
  • Point of contact for Copeland products and solutions
  • Coordinate sample activities and shipments to expedite requests and processing of orders
  • Decide on credit recommendation on short paid invoices
  • Coordinate product sampling to customers from order entry to delivery
PROGRESS REVIEWS
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with Business Unit Point-of-Contact and local management
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
  • Graduate of any four-year business or behavioral discipline course
  • Graduate of any engineering discipline course is an advantage
Work Experience Or Training
  • At least two (2) years experience gained from interactive customer service and related functions
  • At least three (3) years experience gained from marketing, industrial sales, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing and technology business
  • Knowledge in Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration (HVACR) is an advantage
  • Background in offshore service operations is an added advantage
