Supports North America Procurement with PO creation, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Your Role: Key responsibilities include: Review requests for purchase order (PO) creation, ensuring completeness and authorization. Ensuring accurate creation of purchase orders with complete vendor information and pertinent details. Acting as a coordinator between the PO requestor and approvers for updates. Maintaining changes to open purchase orders in the system. Confirming receipt of goods/services in the system. Completing the invoice exception workflow to trigger payment processes. Ensuring proper closure of POs through regular coordination with stakeholders. Tracking and reporting progress of requests and open purchase orders. Submitting requests to set up new vendors when necessary. Publishing monthly performance metrics with analysis. Identifying and implementing continuous improvements in the PO creation process. About You: The ideal candidate will have: A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or equivalent. Good exposure to enterprise systems, preferably SAP/S4Hana. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Good knowledge of Procure-to-Pay Process and Controls. Keen attention to details. Comfort working on deadlines with a strong sense of urgency. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. SAP experience and excellent time management skills are desirable. Previous experience in multi-cultural teams is a plus.
