Deriving information from ATO Portal. Preparation of Financial statements & Income tax. Deriving information to download as work papers for input into clients software. Updating clients preferred accounting system with adjustments to match their records with the client once job is completed. Requirements 4 years of experience in Australian Taxation and Compliance 4 years of experience in Australian Accounting Experience in working with Australian SMEs Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, companies, and trusts Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Xero, MYOB, QBO With Excellent oral and written English communication skills The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies Generally able to work independently through tasks until completion. Excellent personal time and task (To do list) management.
