Senior Accountant—Tax Accountant Position The Remote Accountant (TRA) is an innovative BPO in the Philippines that specialises in connecting great people with great Australian businesses. We have Australian-based clients who are looking to grow an offshore team and provide excellent career development and training opportunities to their team members. We are seeking five highly skilled senior accountants with excellent communication skills for a long-term remote career in accounting. Eligibility: Only Philippine-based applicants are accepted. P20,000 sign‑on bonus for successful candidates. Responsibilities Preparation of BAS / IAS returns Preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients Preparation and lodgment of Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships Reviewing client accounting records in MYOB, QuickBooks and Xero to provide accurate and timely management reports Assisting in a range of taxation matters including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline CPA Certification is a plus Minimum 4+ years of proven work experience as a tax accountant with an Australian accounting firm Proficiency in Xero and FYI Docs Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) Experience managing multiple clients and reviewing jobs is preferred Highly organised, detail‑oriented and a team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino Strong time‑management and multitasking skills System Requirements Stable internet connection (at least 80 Mbps) Work Setup and Schedule Full-time, day shift (8 hours) Fixed Saturday and Sunday off Remote / work‑from‑home; a separate, quiet room is required Must not be disturbed by electronic devices during work hours Benefits Health insurance/HMO 20 days leave Training and development opportunities Electricity, transportation, rice and clothing allowances #J-18808-Ljbffr
