Location: Makati City, Philippines Job Reference Number: ___________________ Responsibilities As a Software Engineer for the Embedded Software team located in Makati City, Philippines, participate in design, code and test of products (cards operating system) ensuring quality, efficiency and confidentiality of development. Follow priorities and objectives defined by the Project Leader and provide support to the field team and customers, including field problem analysis. Understand, analyze and challenge requirements in respect of our customer. Design, coding, unit testing, bug fixing, and optimization. Cross-validate with other modules, challenge designs using your use case designs. Track bugs in the system and collaborate with other teams, locally or remotely, to ensure project success. Continuously improve processes where possible. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience with Assembly, C/C++, Java and VB.Net. Embedded software development, card operating system, or smart card experience is preferred. Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical, logical in solution making, autonomous, a team player in a diverse environment, capable of proposing solutions, energetic, innovative and able to handle stress. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Automation or Electronics Engineering. 1-6 years of experience in a full-time embedded software development role. Willingness to travel domestically up to 5% for trainings, customer briefings and support.
