Assistant Travel Consultant Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement Provide quality and cost‑effective travel services to clients (BSM Group and third‑party clients), in accordance with Network’s strategy and objectives. Responsibilities Supports Manager and Network’s Director in applying Eurasia Travel Network’s short and long‑term business strategy, vision, policies and objectives Promote Network’s image and services provided and propose target clients to be contacted Receive, monitor and process requests for travel bookings Propose best available and alternative options with details of time limits, restrictions, etc Follow‑up reply from client and effect changes to reservations or cancel bookings as required Issue ticket upon confirmation from client and submit all necessary details to him (ticket, itinerary, any other information which is considered necessary) Monitor unused or partly used tickets and apply for refund Coordinate with airlines for seats availability and confirmation of booking Maintain close contact with client’s personnel and assist on ticket‑related inquiries (retrieval of booking, ticket, etc.) Identify and report problems to Manager with a proposal for their solution Coordinate with Manager and Network’s Director in order to increase or maintain internal utilization of Eurasia Travel business units Provide support to subordinates and report areas of deficiencies/weaknesses to Manager for taking necessary steps or measures to rectify them Update on any changes on fares/rules circulated by airlines Qualifications Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Hospitality, Tourism, or related field is a plus) Work experience: 1–2 years as Travel Consultant in domestic and international booking & ticketing in an IATA travel agency Job‑Specific Skills: Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines High level of responsibility Show initiative and be a team player Very good knowledge of Galileo / Amadeus reservation systems Fluency in English PC literacy Benefits Retirement Benefit SSS, PagIbig, PhilHealth Contributions Employer’s Share Medical Insurance (HMO) Life Insurance Free Uniform Free Office Lunch Pro‑rated Sick Leave and Vacation Leave on Day 1 18 Days’ Vacation Leave per annum (increasing every 5 years of service by 1 day up to 22 days) 21 Days Sickness Leave per annum Administrative Benefits Compassionate Leave 3 Day – Immediate Family; 1 Day – Extended Family Maternity/Paternity Leave Birthday Leave Birthday Allowance of Php 1,500 Medical Reimbursement – Php 750 per month; Php 9,000 per annum Wedding Gift Eyeglasses worth Php 3,000 upon regularization Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Customer Service Travel Arrangements Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
