The OpportunityJoin Allegro MicroSystems in a critical role dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of employee compensation, leveraging systems like MyHR and Oracle, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws and government regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining employee trust, supporting financial audits, and contributing to the overall operational excellence of a global semiconductor company. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):Payroll Processing & System Management:
Prepare and process payroll for Monthly, Daily Paid, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) employees using the MyHR Timekeeping and Payroll System.
Upload various income and deduction types (e.g., advances, CAMPE, capital build-up, various loans, attendance and overtime adjustments, other benefits and allowances) into the MyHR system.
Upload text files for ATM payroll and other employee payments to the bank’s Online Banking facility.
Provide technical assistance to MyHR users via phone/email, validating and resolving employee payroll timecard exceptions during payroll cut-off or as needed.
Send email announcements to MyHR users regarding payroll cut-offs and deadlines for reviewing/resolving timecard exceptions.
Benefits & Compliance Management:
Prepare and compute various employee benefits, including 13th month pay, cash conversion of unused leaves, final pay, and tax refunds.
Transmit monthly SSS contributions/loans, PHIC contributions, and HDMF contributions/loans for both employee and employer shares through the bank’s Online Banking facility.
Prepare Alphalist for Non-Exempt employees as an attachment for BIR Form 1604 CF.
Provide documents and support needed for ETQ and Financial/SOX audits.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare Direct and Indirect Labor Analysis (due every 1st Tuesday after FS cut-off).
Prepare the Impact on Headcount Report (due every 1st Thursday after FS cut-off).
Prepare Detailed Overtime Report (due every 1st Thursday after FS cut-off).
Maintain payroll registers and bank files, payroll entries, and OneHub transaction records (soft copies).
Employee Support & Continuous Improvement:
Attend to employee queries and concerns regarding payroll, ATM, and other related matters, taking necessary corrective actions.
Initiate system methodologies and services for continuous improvement in payroll processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Education: Any college degree (Accountancy or Business Administration is preferred).
Experience:
Preferably with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in timekeeping and payroll processing. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Technical & Functional Knowledge:
Above average computer literacy, especially proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel).
Working knowledge of the entire finance and accounting function.
Good knowledge of Philippine tax laws and other government regulations.
Attributes:
Keen on details and possesses the ability to clearly explain complex information.
Strong ability to execute financial controls accurately.
Highly organized and meticulous.
