To fuel their continued growth, we are seeking a proactive Digital Marketing Executive. In this role, you will be essential in bringing marketing plans to life, enhancing brand visibility, driving customer acquisition, and supporting revenue goals for all locations and services. This is a remote, full-time position with core hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST/AEDT, Monday through Friday. Given the event-driven nature of the sports and leisure sector, some flexibility for weekend work is required, with any extra hours compensated through time-in-lieu. You will report to the Marketing Lead and collaborate closely with a dedicated shared-services team, including peers in social media and SEO, to deliver a cohesive and effective marketing strategy. Responsibilities Digital Campaign Strategy Develop and manage comprehensive digital marketing initiatives designed to generate leads, build brand recognition, and deepen customer loyalty for our client's venues and service offerings. Content Creation & Storytelling Produce compelling copy and visual assets from blog articles and social media content to customer spotlights and newsletters that showcase our client's world-class facilities, successful programs, and community impact. Email Strategy & Automation Build and oversee segmented email marketing flows aimed at guiding prospects through the customer journey, enhancing client retention, and sharing important news with the community. Website & Search Optimization Oversee the management and continuous improvement of our client's websites, focusing on superior user experience, strong search engine performance, and alignment with overarching business objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work in partnership with sales and on-site teams to produce effective marketing tools and digital resources that drive enrollment for programs and increase membership uptake. Social Media & Community Management Collaborate with the dedicated Social Media Specialist to plan and launch engaging content across all platforms, helping to cultivate a vibrant online community for all racquet sports enthusiasts. Event Marketing Lead the digital promotion of key events, including tournaments, open days, and community gatherings, through targeted online campaigns and localized marketing activities. Performance Analysis & Reporting Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all marketing activities using analytics platforms and CRM data; translate insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Brand Management & Collateral Assist in developing a range of marketing materials from brochures to digital banners, ensuring all assets maintain consistent brand standards across every location and touchpoint. Ideal Candidate Bachelor's degree or equivalent Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience with SEO and SEM Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills; a minimum of three years of professional marketing experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the sports, fitness, leisure, or hospitality sectors. Proven expertise across key digital marketing disciplines, including content development, search engine optimisation (SEO), and data-driven performance analysis. Hands‑on experience using CRM platforms and marketing automation software to execute and manage campaigns. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with the proven ability to prioritise and manage several projects at once in a fast‑paced environment. A self‑motivated and creative approach, with a clear focus on achieving measurable results. A personal interest in racquet sports or an active, health‑oriented lifestyle is a significant advantage.
