About Our Client The company specializes in steel formwork, scaffolding, and equipment rental, primarily serving developers and contractors. As a trusted vendor business, it is now focusing on expanding its rental services to better support construction projects. Job Description Provides administrative support and leadership to the Finance & Accounting functions. Responsible for funds management, cash flow, tax management, budget and financial & operational control reporting. Responsible for general Finance, Accounting, and administrative activities within the subsidiary. Ensures that accounts receivable are collected by their due date and administers collections activities and liaise with lawyer for delinquent accounts. Ensures that company administrative procedures and policies are followed and enforced and proposes additional local procedures and policies as needed. Ensures that international subsidiary is in compliance with all local labor and tax laws including municipal, state, and federal income tax and value-added taxes. To ensure accuracy of the full set of accounts & accounting functions and compliance with current accounting practices & principles; internally and externally Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts, management reports, forecast, and budget. To liaise with banker, auditors, tax agent, company secretary and all government and other regulatory bodies pertaining to finance, accounts and tax matters. Ensure and maintain effective internal control policies. To support and monitor plans for driving the company to achieve its objectives. The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Administrator should have: Degree in Accountancy or Professional Qualifications plus 5-8 years within the management or the financial services fields. Candidate must be a certified Accountant. Possess strong analytical skills, meticulous ability to multi-task, ability to make quick decisions and achieve deadlines. Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work independently and cope with pressure. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational and training skills are required. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and strong stakeholder management abilities with high levels of integrity and transparency. Audit experience is preferred.
