Position Summary The Finance Manager is a critical leadership role that functions as a junior CFO, serving as the strategic financial partner to the executive team. While providing oversight and support to core accounting functions, the primary focus of this role is Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)—driving the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives. This manager translates operational data into strategic business insights, ensuring the company’s financial planning is sound and fully aligned with its long-term growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting cycles, and variance analysis to monitor performance against plan. Develop complex financial models to support strategic decisions on pricing, expansion, and new service development. Strategic Reporting: Prepare and present executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and operational metrics, clearly communicating key performance drivers and areas of risk to leadership. Accounting Oversight & Review: Oversee the integrity and accuracy of the core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) management, ensuring timely and compliant month-end and year-end close processes. Financial Controls & Compliance: Establish, document, and enforce robust internal financial controls and accounting policies. Ensure full compliance with local tax and statutory requirements, embodying our value to Steer with Integrity . Data-Driven Decision Support: Partner closely with Operations and the MIS team to integrate financial and operational data, leveraging insights to drive profitability and efficiency, in line with the principle that The Data Steers Us . Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage and forecast company cash flow, optimizing working capital and identifying opportunities for financial efficiency. Skills & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years dedicated to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Experience within a BPO or high-growth technology/service firm is a strong asset. Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy required; CPA, MBA, or CFA designation is highly preferred. Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in financial modeling (Excel), ERP systems, and BI reporting tools (e.g., Power BI). Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to transition between high-level strategic planning and detailed financial execution. Leadership: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial topics clearly to non-financial leaders.
