About the Role The Financial Controller is primarily responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating the implementation of sound accounting and financial management and control systems and procedures for all operational areas and facilitating the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting records. He/she is assigned to monitor all financial data, prepare accurate statements for both the PH and AU entities and ensure that accounting transactions comply with the law. He/she works alongside the Integrators and the CEO to work out financial strategies for the whole company. Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred, or a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accountancy Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Controller or relevant role in a foreign-owned company, shared service, or outsourcing business With a cumulative 10 years of experience in finance and accounting Proficient in the use of MS Office and Accounting Software (Xero, SAP, etc.) Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English Possesses an attitude of service and support Ability to coach, develop, and mentor staff members Ability to work independently, but also coordinate effectively as part of a team Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a fast-paced business Mature disposition in appropriately managing sensitive situations Strong analytical and organisational skills Must be willing to work on-site (IT Park Cebu/Robinsons Cybergate Delta Davao) Tasks and Responsibilities Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organisation Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Work alongside the PH Lead to forecast costs and revenues Work with the in-house accountant to manage tax payments Prepare budgets and forecasts Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies Analyse financial trends and conduct risk analysis Manage Finance Team projects Directs financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with PH Lead, CCO, and department heads Industry-leading benefits HMO w/ Dental Coverage + Dependents 2-week paid Holiday Break.
