Our backend is built with Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. We use React and Next.js for the frontend, GitLab for version control and CI/CD, and host on AWS. What We Offer Meaningful challenges that impact global operations Significant influence on company growth Flexible work organization and work-life balance Competitive salary, stock options, unlimited PTO, and benefits Supportive environment fostering innovation Professional growth opportunities with experienced engineers Requirements Extensive experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir Proficiency with Postgres or similar databases Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Github, Jenkins, etc.) Preferred Skills Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, React/Vue/Angular Responsibilities Lead development of major projects and cross-team initiatives Participate in product development, provide feedback, and suggest improvements Maintain understanding of product and engineering domains Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared codebase Debug, solve issues, and propose platform improvements Mentor engineers and participate in hiring, RFC discussions, support rotations Design scalable, maintainable APIs Practical Details Reporting to: Engineering Team Leader Location: Remote, anywhere in the world Start date: As soon as possible Compensation & Benefits The base salary ranges from USD 51,850 to USD 116,650, depending on location, skills, and experience.
