About the role We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team at Southern Cross Distribution, Inc. in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and reporting for our company. Responsibilities Prepare and process various accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, journal entries, and reconciliations Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions Perform month-end and year-end closing activities Provide support to the finance team in various accounting and reporting tasks Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data integrity Comply with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures What we\'re looking for Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the financial services or distribution industry Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards What we offer At Southern Cross Distribution, Inc., we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
