JOB PURPOSE: The Distribution Specialist for Inventory takes part in supervising and managing the warehouse activities to ensure productivity. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews and documents activities pertaining to Inventory Management. Ensures on time processing of Transfer Posting requests, Inventory Adjustments and Inventory Charging. Perform inventory validation Organize placement and setup of SKUs/inventories based on business rules on Picking Location Management Ensures on time processing of Inventory Exemptions. Ensures DC Occupancy is always at is optimal level. Monitors Productivity and ensures targets are met. Schedule manpower resources properly according to schedule of activities. EnsuresproperexecutionofAnnual and Mid-yearInventoryCountfor DC/Ecom. ExecuteCycleCountfor DC/Ecom. Ensureshighinventory accuracyofDC/Ecom. Investigate order cancellations and make recommendations. Contribute in maintaining the DC Efficiency by ensuring that inventories are accurate, none or minimal aging inventories, none or minimal occurrence of losses or DC shrinkages. CollaborateswiththeotherdepartmentsuchasIPAandITonhowto prevent or at leastminimizethesystemerrors. Accommodate and provide assistancetoothersection/department’s requests orconcerns. Updates the IM SOPs as needed. Submits Reports on time and accurately. Proposes Process Improvement and Cost Efficiency Projects. Anythingrelatedto Inventory. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent. Can communicate effectively both verbal and written Experience with handling high volume distribution with an emphasis on quality and accuracy. Experience supervising or managing employees in a dynamic environment where coordination with other managers/employees is required. Experience in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of employees and their adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines is required. Experience in a high-volume distribution center is preferable Computer literate. Ability to motivate others. Must have strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills. Results-oriented and has a good command of urgency under extreme pressure. Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. Innovative and highly organized. Act sensibly to meet deadlines and commitments to clients. Must have the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision. At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
