Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the assigned product line, aligned with corporate goals.
Identify growth opportunities, market expansion strategies, and potential partnerships.
Oversee pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies to ensure competitive market positioning.
Commercial Management
Achieve annual sales, revenue, and profit targets for the product line.
Work closely with the VP Sales and other senior leaders to align commercial plans.
Directly oversee key client relationships and high-value accounts.
Operational Oversight
Manage day-to-day operations of the distribution network for the assigned product line.
Ensure inventory, logistics, and supply chain processes meet service level agreements.
Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
People & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 70-80 employees across sales, marketing, and operations.
Set clear performance objectives, KPIs, and accountability frameworks.
Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous training and professional development.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations and company policies.
Maintain quality and safety standards in all distribution activities.
Oversee risk management and compliance with all contractual and legal obligations.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
Minimum 12-15 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, distribution, or commercial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering strong P&L results.
Strong understanding of the Philippine pharmaceutical market, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization
