Role Overview

Role: Business Insights Manager. You lead a team that helps internal and external stakeholders understand and monitor performance, investigate trends, identify anomalies, derive insights from data, and develop recommendations to optimize opportunities and drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business analytics and insights leadership and strategic direction to a group of Business Insights Analysts.
  • Deliver process-related insights and improvements by working across functional teams; define key operational metrics and dashboards to increase operational efficiency (e.g., reduce costs, reduce manual touch); distill complex data analyses into actionable information.
  • Partner with the data visualization team to stay current and leverage new data points and tools; drive awareness of data availability and share best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in data science or business analytics, big data, machine learning; preferably with people leadership and development experience in the BPO or similar fast-paced industry.
  • 5 years of experience with data analysis tools (R or Python) and techniques (machine learning, statistical analysis, data mining) is an advantage.
  • Experience in innovations and project management.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to test hypotheses, confirm assumptions, generate insights/recommendations, and measure success.
  • Ability to partner across internal business groups, executive stakeholders, and execution partners; strong relationship-building at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract business insights from large datasets to drive business change.
  • Self-starter with a passion for using data to influence business decisions and strategy investments.
  • Proven impact and influence skills to align disparate groups and defend recommendations.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
