1. Shift Management: Ensure smooth operations during AM and PM shift by coordinating with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members. Daily Meetings and Target Setting: Conduct daily meetings with team members to discuss sales targets and objectives for the day. Cascade sales targets effectively to all team members, ensuring clear understanding and buy-in, and coaching effective sales approach if necessary. 3. Sales Reporting: Compile and report daily sales figures to top management at the end of each day. Provide insights and analysis on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement or success. 4. Customer Service Standards: Implement and uphold high standards of customer service across all team members. Train and coach staff on customer service techniques and protocols. 5. Quality Control: Monitor food quality, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. Address any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. 6. Customer Service: Interact with customers to address any concerns or special requests. Ensure a positive dining experience by providing attentive service and resolving any issues that arise. 7. Team Member Development: Oversee the training, development, and growth initiatives for team members, and apply progressive discipline as required. Offer guidance and assistance to team members, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff. Cultivate a constructive work atmosphere by advocating teamwork and facilitating effective communication. 8. Problem Solving: Handle any unexpected challenges or emergencies that may arise during your shift, such as equipment malfunctions, staffing issues, or customer complaints. Implement solutions quickly to minimize disruptions. 9. Training and Development: Identify opportunities for training and development among team members. Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to help improve skills and performance. 10. Enforcement of Company Policies: Ensure that all supervisors are enforcing company rules and regulations consistently. Address any breaches or issues promptly and in accordance with company protocols. 11. Facilitation of Daily Service Checklist: Oversee the completion of daily service checklists to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards. Address any deviations or deficiencies in checklist completion. 12. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks as needed, such as monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and placing orders for supplies. 13. Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures, cleanliness standards, and maintenance of a safe working environment. 14. Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that all areas of the dining establishment, including the dining area, bar, stockroom, and store facade, are maintained to high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning schedules and protocols to uphold cleanliness standards throughout operating hours. 15. Asset Protection Policies: Develop and enforce policies to protect company assets, including equipment, furniture, and fixtures. Educate staff on the importance of maintaining and caring for company property. 16. Facility and Equipment Maintenance: Lead efforts to maintain the facility and all equipment to the highest standards, prioritizing safety and cleanliness. 17. Cash Handling Procedures: Establish and enforce strict cash handling procedures to minimize the risk of theft or mishandling. Train staff on proper cash handling techniques, including secure cash register operations and safe storage of cash. 18. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with management, staff, and other relevant parties. Relay important information, updates, and feedback to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page. 19. Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of team members during your shift and provide feedback to management as needed. Identify areas for improvement and recognize outstanding contributions. Additional Duties: Support the planning and execution of in-house events and special functions. Continuously seek ways to enhance service quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Assist the Restaurant Manager especially if she is not available or not in duty.
