Key Responsibilities Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee daily accountingfunctions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payrollaccounting, and fixed asset management.
  • Prepare timely and accuratemonthly management reports and local financial statements.
  • Ensure consistency betweenlocal books and consolidated group financial reporting.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance withlocal tax laws, audit regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditorsand tax authorities to manage audits and filings.
  • Maintain proper documentationand records for compliance and regulatory review.
Cost Control & Operational Finance
  • Monitor production costs,bill of materials (BOM) variances, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Collaborate with operationsto analyze spending and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee procurement financeprocesses, vendor payments, and inventory accounting.
Cash Flow & Treasury
  • Manage cash flow forecasting,banking relationships, and treasury activities.
  • Coordinate intercompanyfunding, payments, and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Prepare regular cash positionupdates and projections for local and group use.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
  • Develop and implementfinance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Strengthen internal controlsaround purchasing, asset management, and payroll.
  • Conduct periodic riskassessments and suggest control enhancements.
Team Leadership & Cross-Border Coordination
  • Lead and develop the localfinance team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with theregional or group finance function on reporting, budgeting, and audits.
  • Support group-level financialconsolidation, capex tracking, and intercompany reconciliations.
Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant(CPA) or equivalent qualification required.
  • 5-7 years of financeexperience, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of localaccounting standards, tax compliance, and labor-related financialregulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP oraccounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail withintegrity and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong communication andcoordination skills, especially with multinational teams and group financecounterparts.
