Learn more at Job Details Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: AP/AR Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Paranaque, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines Job Description The cash application Specialist is responsible for processing customer receipts and adjustments in an accurate and timely manner for specific business sectors and countries serviced by GS Manila. This role ensures payments are correctly applied, reconciles cash, bank statements, and remittance advice and supports AR Reporting and audits. Responsibilities Processes and reconciles cash receipts, bank statement and remittance advice. Ensures that all incoming payments applied are balanced free of discrepancies and conform to policies and procedures. Works closely with Collection team for customer payment and claims reconciliation. Prepares customer's statement of account requests for refunds and write off/write-ons when there are credits on the customer's account. Generates and reconciles closing reports. Ensures service level and targets are met as per Service Level Agreements. Ensures proper and timely escalation of issues so that they are resolved to meet internal and external expectations. Identifies opportunities and participates in process improvements projects within Cash Applications and AR reporting process. Ensures all process documentations are updated and current. Support internal and external audits as needed. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Excellent communications skills with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Working knowledge of SAP is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent data entry and processing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and manage time and multiple deadlines. Experience in shared service center or prior experience in Cash Applications/Accounts Receivable Skills Preferred Skills: #J-18808-Ljbffr
