About the Role

As an Enterprise Risk Specialist/Credit Assistant, you will evaluate the borrowers or potential borrowers of the bank, considering inherent risks and opportunities. You will also recommend appropriate facilities with mitigants to protect the bank's interests.

How you will contribute
  • Conduct interviews and ocular inspections with clients to determine their risk profile.
  • Prepare credit proposals with gathered information for presentation to CRECOM and EXCOM.
  • Present credit proposals to aid decision-making; perform financial analysis to assess clients' repayment capacity.
  • Stay updated with credit policies and risk bulletins to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers in loan packaging, identifying credit risks and mitigants for approval.
  • Plan and gather information for renewals or client calls to ensure timely processing and prevent expired lines.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of banking, financial evaluation, credit appraisal, accounting, audit, tax services, and investment industries.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels and external parties.
  • Basic accounting, credit policies, financial analysis knowledge, and good written communication skills.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
