Job Summary This dual-role position combines inventory management and safety compliance responsibilities. The Inventory Analyst (Jr.) / Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing Value-Added Service (VAS) layouts, managing third-party manpower, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. The role also oversees internal trucking operations to support efficient logistics flow. Key Roles and Responsibilities 1. VAS Layout Management and Optimization Design and implement efficient VAS layouts to maximize space utilization and workflow productivity. Organize workstations to reduce errors and improve efficiency in bundling and stickering activities. Recommend and apply process improvements to streamline operations. Coordinate with the Sales team to adjust layouts based on demand and inventory levels. 2. Third-Party Manpower Supervision Oversee and coordinate third-party manpower assigned to VAS operations. Monitor task assignments to ensure quality, accuracy, and productivity standards are met. Conduct quality checks on finished goods for correct labeling and packaging. Ensure adherence to company safety and operational guidelines. Manage manpower schedules and adjust allocations based on workload requirements. 3. Safety Officer Responsibilities Conduct routine safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. Implement and enforce occupational health and safety policies and programs. Provide safety training and awareness sessions for employees. Maintain safety documentation, including inspection reports and incident logs. Ensure compliance with government safety standards and internal company policies. 4. Internal Trucking Operations Monitoring Supervise internal trucking schedules to ensure efficient and timely transport of goods. Track vehicle movements, loading efficiency, and delivery timelines. Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to resolve delays or operational concerns. Record and monitor fuel usage, mileage, and related expenses for cost tracking. 5. Request for Payment (RFP) Processing Prepare and verify payment requests related to internal trucking, fuel, and maintenance. Ensure all supporting documents, such as delivery receipts and fuel invoices, are attached. Coordinate with Finance and Logistics teams for prompt processing of payments. 6. Inventory Tracking and Reconciliation Conduct periodic stock reconciliations to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of warehouse and safety supply inventories.
