Junior HR Associate
The Junior HR Associate is an HR generalist role responsible for supporting multiple HR functions with a focus on timekeeping, facilities management/administration, and employee engagement. The role ensures accurate HR operations, helps maintain a safe and efficient workplace environment, and supports initiatives that drive employee satisfaction and organizational culture.
Responsibilities- Timekeeping
- Monitor daily attendance and ensure accurate timekeeping records.
- Process leaves, overtime, and schedule adjustments in coordination with payroll.
- Support employees with timekeeping-related queries and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory labor regulations.
- Facilities Management / Administration
- Facilitates and provides support in office inspections, repairs, renovations, etc. Help oversee workplace safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Processes completion and compliance of office documentations to all concerned government agencies.
- Controls activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Handles insurance plans and service contracts.
- Reviews utilities consumption and strives to minimize costs. In addition, performs analysis and forecasting of services, utilities, etc.
- In-charge of end to end processing of business trip requests.
- Health and Safety
- Acts as first aider and/or safety officer of the company. In addition, oversees compliance of the company in all government regulations and guidelines.
- Provides first-aid treatments and medication assistance for employees as needed. Acts as main POC in case of emergency in the office premises.
- Employee Engagement
- Leads in developing strategies, budgeting, and initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of excellence and employee engagement in the organization.
- Oversees the delivery of the organization’s calendar of activities such as town hall meetings, team buildings, anniversaries, etc.
- Support communication initiatives that promote employee participation and culture building.
- Gather feedback from employees to help improve engagement activities.
- Assist in implementing recognition and wellness programs.
- General Duties and Responsibilities
- Recommends and implements improvement to processes, procedures, policies and workflow to create efficiencies to relative functions assigned to him/her.
- Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices in office management and employee engagement.
- Create and present KPI reports.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration and the like.
- 1-2 working experience in Admin, Health and Safety of employees, employee engagement in a corporate company.
- Preferably with working experience in facilitating engagement activities.
- Experience in project management and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong decision-making skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong consistency and attention to details.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to function in a global team environment.
- Open to a multicultural work environment.
- 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM PHT Monday to Friday
